- The First International Symposium on Photonic Computing was held from March 11th to 12th. We are grateful for the participation of numerous attendees from both domestic and international backgrounds, as well as for the lively discussions and valuable insights we received. We sincerely thank all those who participated.

- Obituary: With great sadness, we announce the recent passing of Professor Makoto Naruse, Head investigator of the research area (Principal investigator of the management group and project B03). We express our deepest gratitude for your kindness during his lifetime.
Management group members are currently considering the new organizational structure of the research area. It will be announced on this website once confirmed.
Taking his firm intention of “Highlighting the Ultimate Nature of Light” into our hearts and working together as a team, we strive to realize “Photonic Computing”.
We pray sincerely for the repose of Prof. Makoto Naruse’s soul and contentiously look forward to your support for developing this research area.
